We adhere to the highest standards of professionalism in our representation, and we also work hard to establish and foster a human connection with you. We want you to feel as if you are our only client.
We know from experience that family law matters are highly emotional and often cause significant stress and anxiety. We take the time to listen to your concerns, to talk about your needs and develop a strategy that allows you to meet your needs. We emphasize a caring and compassionate approach to family law disputes, focusing our efforts on helping you get through the process. Though we seek amicable solutions to often contentious issues, we are willing and prepared to take your case to trial, if doing so is in your best interest.
Our Family Law Practice
We handle all matters related to or arising out of divorce, including child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support or alimony, and the equitable distribution of marital assets or property. Our lawyers work with men and women in all stages of a divorce, from the initial filing and determinations of temporary custody, visitation and support, through mediation and attempts to negotiate amicable settlements, to trial and postdecree requests for enforcement or modification.
Divorce and separation often lead to issues regarding the rights of stepparents or grandparents. We work closely with individuals who seek to exercise or limit the rights of stepparents or grandparents, including rights of visitation.
Our family law practice also includes counsel on matters involving adoption, as well as paternity disputes.
For experienced divorce or family law in the Kansas City metro area, contact our office. Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and evening and weekend appointments are available upon request. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
